Delaney Lloyd (...or Del, for short) is a writer/director who specializes in dramedy and dark comedy. Her latest short film that she wrote, directed, and produced, WITHOUT A DOUBT, has been selected for 8 film festivals and has won a BEST COMEDY SHORT award. When it comes to writing, her female-driven stories usually feature absurd premises layered with dark subtext, snappy dialogue, and delightfully flawed characters. Raised in North Carolina and currently living in Los Angeles, she has steadily advanced her career with the glisten of her brow and a smidge of southern charm, most recently directing and producing a music video for the artist LUNA AURA that has gained over 104k views on YouTube.

Notable features and television shows Delaney has worked on include THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY (Disney+), FROM SCRATCH (Netflix/Hello Sunshine), STUMPTOWN (ABC), and JACKIE (Searchlight Pictures). She has shadowed Emmy winning directors Marc Buckland and Kabir Akhtar and was the Associate Producer on the pilot episode of the comedy series NEUROTICA written by Nick Kocher (SNL, IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA) and directed by Laura Moss (birth/rebirth). Her creative input has frequently been implemented into the films and tv shows she has worked on thus far.

Currently, Delaney has a short film in post production, a spec pilot script in festivals, and three scripts in development. She’s always open to collaborating on new projects as a writer, director, or consulting producer.
